Roasting Across North Wales
Based in Llanelian, Conwy, at Popty Pig we’re ideally located to serve North Wales but we do travel further. Our bookings include regular visits to Conwy, Llandudno, Bangor, Caernarfon, Llanberis, Colwyn Bay, St Asaph, Abergele, Anglesey, Betws y Coed, & of course, our hometown of Llanelian in the beautiful Conwy Valley.
A Hog Roast For your Wedding, Party or Event
We are highly experienced & well equipped to cater for weddings, corporate events or parties of any size or shape.
We’re happy to travel a little further to cater for weddings or other functions, but please be aware travel may incur an extra charge.
With every booking we provide;
- An experienced, highly qualified chef to cook & carve your meat at a time to suit you.
- One additional member of staff to serve buffet style.
- We provide the gazebo & all serving equipment.
- Locally sourced free range Porc Blasus or Welsh Lamb from A.L & R.O Jones butchers.
- Your choice of freshly baked bread rolls from our local bakery Scilicorns.
- Good quality disposable plates, cutlery & napkins; All recyclable (no plastic!)
- All waste cleared and taken away.
Welsh Hog Roast
The flexibility & originality a hog roast brings to an event is truly inspirational. Guests will be mesmerised by the sight, smell, sound, & of course – the taste of a hog roast.
What’s more a single large hog will feed up to 100 people – at a basic cost of only £800
- Free-range Welsh hog from A.L & R.O Jones butchers, salted, regularly basted & roasted to perfection.
- Sage & onion stuffing.
- Bramley apple sauce.
- £800 feeds up to 100 people.
Welsh Lamb Roast
If a hog roast doesn’t appeal or, like many of our clients, you’ve enjoyed a hog roast before & you would like to give your guests something a little different, a lamb roast is the ideal choice.
Packed with intense flavour, a lamb roast will feed up to 50 people at a cost of only £600 (Price may vary due to supplier cost)
- Locally sourced free range Welsh lamb, studded with Rosemary, garlic, seasoned & regularly basted.
- Your choice of freshly baked bread rolls from our local baker Scilicorns.
- Mint yoghurt.
Optional Extras to Accompany Your Hog Roast
For a small additional fee, we can provide a range of mouth-watering, hand-prepared side dishes to accompany your freshly roasted, traditional feast. But if you have your heart set on something in particular, please call us for a chat & we’ll do our absolute best to make it possible!
